Welcome to DiValdi Vineyard

Our Story

When a passion for some of the most iconic Italian varietals meets the will to create a boutique vineyard on the slopes of the San Diego River in Mission Gorge, DiValdi Vineyard was born! Established in 2021 on predominantly clay, sloped soils in San Diego, California, one half of the vineyard is dedicated to the Brunello Clone (clone 5) of Sangiovese, with one quarter each of the remaining vineyard planted with Montepulciano and Primitivo respectively. 100% organic, hand-harvested, and fully “estate,” all of the farming, winemaking, and aging takes place onsite under the careful watch of owners Valin & Diane Brown. Visits are by appointment only.
